Alterra Group of Companies and Mahogany Management have been selected to develop the site at 777 Victoria Park Avenue into a new mixed-use hub connecting Victoria Park station to the Danforth and aims to serve and enhance the diverse community of Scarborough Southwest.
The two-acre site will be transformed from a TTC bus terminal and commuter parking lot into residential, including 689 total homes, with 254 affordable rental units, retail, a new child care centre, a new publicly accessible open space, community facilities, and improvements to the public realm.
777 Victoria Park Avenue is a project part of the Housing Now Initiative to invest in City-owned lands across Toronto for the development of affordable housing within mixed-income, mixed-use, transit-oriented communities.
