Project Overview
Within the Scarborough-Guildwood neighbourhood, 40 Bushby Drive currently sits as a Toronto Parking Authority carpark and will be transformed to deliver a new mixed-income and transit-oriented development with an estimated 1,500 rental homes, including 450 affordable rental units, just steps away from the future Scarborough Centre Subway Station.
40 Bushby Drive is a project part of the Toronto Builds Policy Framework, which establishes a consistent approach to guide the redevelopment of land owned by the City, its agencies and corporations to build new affordable rental homes. This framework harmonizes policies from previous City programs, and creates a strong focus on building a range of rental homes within complete communities while maintaining ownership of public land.
