Situated just south of St. Michael’s Hospital, 33 Queen Street East is one of eight high-value City-owned sites selected through the ModernTO program for city-building purposes. ModernTO is designed to modernize the City’s office portfolio, reduce the City’s office footprint, and free up underutilized properties for city-building purposes.

The preliminary vision of this site proposes a high-rise mixed-use residential development including affordable rental housing, office uses, and delivering on other city-building objectives including partial replacement of public parking below grade. Redevelopment of this site will occur in the longer term due to the planned construction of the Ontario Line.

33 Queen Street East currently operates as Toronto Parking Authority’s (TPA) head office and houses a TPA parkade.
