This site is located in the eastern Port Lands, near Unwin Avenue and Leslie Street. The site is currently used by a private dragon boat club as the site has direct access to the water. The site has easy access to the Martin Goodman Trail, a 35 mile, multi-use path that services much of the Toronto waterfront.

The properties along Unwin Avenue, south of the Ship Channel, are predominantly heavy industrial uses which include salt storage, waste management operations and equipment rentals. The site is also within close proximity to Cherry Beach to the south.
