CreateTO has announced the shortlist of preferred proponents selected through the REOI process to redevelop the ModernTO sites at 610 Bay Street and 130 Elizabeth Street.
Home to the former Toronto Coach Terminal, the properties are among eight City-owned sites identified by CreateTO to be unlocked through the City’s ModernTO program.
Led by Colliers and The Spanier Group, the REOI outlined a unique vision to redevelop the site into a mixed-income mixed-use development including affordable housing, the delivery of a Paramedic Services Multi-Hub, employment/office uses consistent with the site’s close proximity to the city’s Health Sciences District, the adaptive reuse of the existing heritage building as well as streetscape improvements along Edward and Elizabeth streets.
The seven preferred proponents shortlisted in the first stage of the two-stage market offering process will now be invited to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP).
