Land and Development Conference 2024
CreateTO's CEO Vic Gupta and Chief Development Officer Michael Norton joined the 2024 Land and Development Conference to highlight affordable housing and transit-oriented development, two key topics CreateTO works to drive forward.
Vic moderated a panel discussion about the importance of collaboration across all sectors to build affordable housing. Panelists included Derek Ballantyne, Chief Executive Officer, Boann Social Impact, Tsering Yangki, EVP Real Estate Finance and Development, Dream Unlimited Corp, Katie Maslechko, Chief Executive Officer, Rental Protection Fund and Ene Underwood, Chief Executive Officer, Habitat for Humanity GTA.
Michael joined a panel discussion on transportation and infrastructure and the impact on development and redevelopment. Panelists included Liana Bresler, Principal, SvN, Robyn Brown, Principal, Arcadis, Kelly Skeith, Senior Vice President, Development, Infrastructure Ontario, and Toby Wu, Executive Vice President, Development, QuadReal. Matt Buckman, Senior Director, Program and Partnerships, Canadian Urban Institute was the moderator.
