Basin Dockwall Rehabilitation Project

CreateTO owns over 8 km of dockwall in Toronto’s Harbour. We’ve developed a dockwall management program to ensure the dockwall continues to support port activity and is maintained in good repair to accommodate creative industry redevelopment and a future public promenade.

On a recently completed dockwall rehabilitation, we added new safety features such as ladders, life safety stations, and a fixed fender that protects the dockwall, and we introduced a new revetment system that works as a permanent solution while enhancing fish habitat.
