Project Overview
Toronto Fire Services has identified the need for a new fire hall to serve the Flemingdon Park community in Don Valley East. As the community continues to grow, this new fire hall will help ensure that emergency services meet its evolving needs and continue to support residents and communities across Toronto.
Through a comprehensive site selection process, CreateTO identified 165 Grenoble Drive as the site for the new fire hall. Located between Angela James Arena and St. John XXIII Catholic School, the site currently includes a City-owned parking lot and tennis courts. As part of the planning process, the City is exploring strategies with the Toronto Catholic School Board to minimize impacts to existing uses.
Community Engagement Opportunities
CreateTO is hosting two upcoming community engagement opportunities. Staff from Toronto Fire Services and the City’s Parks & Recreation division will join CreateTO at the Public Information Meeting to answer questions about this project.
