1900 Yonge Street

The future proposed vision for this property will seek to provide affordable rental housing, replacement office space, the adaptive reuse of a heritage asset and the opportunity to create new parkland as part of a proposed redevelopment of 1900 Yonge.

Located beside Davisville Station and steps from the Beltline Trail, 1900 Yonge is currently home to the Toronto Transit Commission’s head office. To accommodate transit operational needs, the property will be redeveloped in the longer-term. The initial vision proposes the inclusion of a high-rise mixed-use residential development incorporating affordable rental housing, replacement office space and the adaptive reuse of heritage assets. Redevelopment of the site is proposed to occur in conjunction with a potential opportunity to explore decking options over the adjacent Davisville Yards to enable the creation of a new park.
