The transit-oriented Bloor-Islington project will include 1,415 housing units, including affordable rental units, retail space and new animated public spaces.

Bloor-Islington is part of Etobicoke Centre, one of four Centres throughout the City identified in the Official Plan to accommodate growth and a dynamic mix of housing, employment opportunities, commercial activities and community amenities. 

Bloor-Islington is a project part of the Housing Now Initiative to invest in City-owned lands across Toronto for the development of affordable housing within mixed-income, mixed-use, transit-oriented communities.
